Format and rules

The MDCC will be a fixed doubles tournament utilizing ​NCA Rules. Every player will need a partner and a team ​name. If anyone needs a partner please email ​charmcitycrokinole@gmail.com and we’ll get you ​connected to another player.


The morning and afternoon sessions will consist of o​ne large round robin. Each team will play every other t​eam once in a 15-minute timed game consisting of 4​ rounds. Results from round robin will establish the seeding​ for a single elim​ination playoff bracket.

Registration closes on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd.

No walk-ins. Sp​ectators welcomed.

cost

$80 per team. Fee covers lunch and cash prizes for ​finalists. Prize amount based on # of registe​red player​s.

friday night social

Come on out anytime after 6:30PM for our social ​at Hopkins Farm Brewery, 3833 Rider Ln, Havre ​De Grace, MD 21078. We’ll have boards out for ​flickin’ and batons out in the lighted field for the ​other amazing game made of wood, Kubb. Hang ​out with crokinolers from around the area as we ​welcome out-of-town guests. Dress warmly! It will ​be late October and inside seating is limited.

The MDCC will be held at Coakley’s Pub (414 St. John St. #406, Havre De Grace, MD 21078). Havre de Grace is:

  • 50 minutes from Baltimore
  • 75 minutes from Philadelphia
  • 2 hours, 45 minutes from New York City
